I fail to see the tragic loss here. Scalia opposed all basic rights for gays and minorities. His original intent dogma means Ted Cruz and Rubio were not eligible to run for president. His Citizens United decision gave elected office over the wealthiest. His vote in Hobby Lobby makes discrimination of all kinds legal under the fake guise of religious freedom. I did not wish him dead, of say AIDS like you have been known to do with people and opinions you dislike, but his passing is a blessing for the future of democratic rights in this country.

Obama's pick will probably nor be confirmed - but Hillary or Bernie's will be. Perhaps their pick will be Obama. Hillary already said she liked him as a pick.

That would be the ultimate irony. The right would be stuck with him for another 30 years! ROTFLMAO.

Tragic loss in terms of human life and bad for the country giving Obama more power, the person and movement you seem to be in bed with.

As for the AIDS comment, I'm sure you saw my comment to a schmuck who thinks he's funny and unfortunately a professional comedian who made a mockery of Scalia's death just moments after his death was announced, as did many liberals celebrating the news. I didn't celebrate Phil's death when you made the announcement here when you returned to this group.

There's a reason why I hardly post here anymore and that is your politics which has done a great deal of harm to this nation with people like you with their head up their ass. You can talk to yourself here from now on.

He was 79 - lived a good life, achieved his goals, or most of them. No tragedy there.

You, more than anyone have hurled death wishes on everyone over and over - in the most vile ways possible. That comedian was mild by comparison. Your self hate and hatred of others is the problem. I also recall your generous use of the n word to describe people talking too loud in the library. I'm sure Stevie Wonder would appreciate your insights on the human condition as you embrace him and slur others. I recall you were all for Obama care until you found out it wasn't free. Then it was bad. Right.

You'll be back - you always are.

I owe you an apology for the other day Kevin. A bit strong. Angered br the insensitive remarks I saw about Scalia's death.

Yes we disagree on politics but you probably know me more than just about everyone out there. Regardless, I like you and you are a friend. I know we both want whats best for our country despite the crazy things we have seen on both sides. I spew a lot when things bother me and some of it is in my personal life right now. I think you know that based on my past. It has improved but I'm still working on it. Again sorry Kevin.

Great, thanks. I appreciate that.
This is definitely the most interesting race I've seen in my lifetime and the strangest. Nothing surprises me anymore. I'll try and lighten up a bit and enjoy the comedy as well.

Have a god weekend.
