New bio about Hank Williams called "I Saw The Light" - I love Hank's music and seeing this on Colbert last night really has me in the mood of actually going to a movie theater again. Last time I went was a few years ago on Christmas Day when Les Miserables just opened with Hugh Jackman.

I am really looking forward to this film. Hiddleston seems like he is perfect for the role. He seems to have nailed the singing and the mannerisms perfectly. I am curious what Hank Jr. thinks about this.

I used to really like Jr. and even saw him in concert years ago. I'll still listen to his music if it's on but think he's an asshole with anti-gay remarks or enticing others to reply with nasty remarks in a thread on Facebook which I got very vocal about. I haven't liked him much as a person since.

I love his dad's music and I even think Jr's son, Hank lll has more brains than his dad. The younger Hank is very talented too and is someone I like as well. The one in the middle is a very gifted and talented legend, both as a musician and asshole.

I agree totally! Hank III has really been a great surprise when he started recording - sounds a lot like his grandfather - looks more like him than Jr. does / did.
