I can live with my choice when I cast my vote on Tuesday. I think our country is troubled despite who wins and the warlike attacks on both sides will get worse after the results are tabulated.

Many people have been vocal and that includes me, but I will not gloat if my candidate wins. I may be vocal against Hillary for her past or her performance as president if she wins, but will not join others in whining if she is elected. That is for another day and time and we will probably see a lot of drama in the coming days ahead. I just don't think she will win.

Trump has my support based on two reasons. I cannot sit back and let Clinton win because of her misconduct and the threat she possesses to affecting the Supreme Court with her nominees and things she stated she will do that will drastically affect the laws in this country.

Donald Trump is not getting my vote because I like him but because of what I stated above. Millions of other Americans echo my reasoning and have been called deplorable and racists. That simply isn't so. I will be just as critical about Trump if he wins as I was with Obama, after I voted for him the first time if Mr. Trump does things I disagree with, and I'm sure there will be times when he does these things.

Hillary Clinton to me is not an issue unless she wins, but the law will handle her and I'll refrain from protesting if she wins.

We'll see. This race is a lot closer than anyone imagined and has been ugly and stressing. In a way I'm glad it ends soon.

I actually posted this thread for sentimental reasons. This group has been home to me for many years and wanted to reflect on the election coming up. Many things have happened over the years and just like September 11th attacks over 15 years ago, this place is a time capsule.

People still read this group but don't post much here anymore. There is one person who was here for many years that I stayed friendly with on Facebook when I posted there who still reads this group. He asked that I didn't mention his name.
