I'll stand with Kareem on this one. Carson's views on many things are simply wrong. His tax plan numbers do not add up - according to three analyst who have done the math, Carson's plan taxes the same income in some cases three times. Ouch. I disagree with him on social issues as well, but nothing in his experience makes him even a little likely to be able to hold his own with congress, or foreign powers that like us, let alone the ones who don't. His personal history is getting more Brian Williams like, and I find that discomforting.

It appears Dr. Carson is following the same path to the White house as President Herman Cain and President Michelle Bachmann, both of who had the same poll numbers as Dr. Carson does now at roughly the same point in the election cycle four years ago.

I think the Dr. is a decent man who has made great contributions in his work and life, but politics is an indecent profession. That's the world we're in, and so called innocents get left begind.

Your answer is a good honest assement on your feelings about him. I'm not honestly sure I would want him wronging the country based on the real honest issues he gave about his violent past that included an incident with his mother and one against a former classmate, which now is being linked to actually a relative.

He chose to go down a different path and found the strength which he attributed to God. He is a tremendous success story and is likable but probably not my first choice. I would have to learn more about him if I were to chose to vote for him. President Obama also came across as likeable and I feel like many that he has failed us.
If given a choice between the two men knowing what I know now I would easily pick Carson.

My support towards him was the attacks by the media and particularly Politico for the unfair reporting and lies. Dr. Carson has said enough by his own words where he doesn't need help by a liberal media that is ugly to incriminate him. He can do that on his own. I think he has been more honest than many others would be if they were in the same position.

I typed in error "wronging" the country in my last reply when I actually meant "running" the country. Big difference, whip I felt I had to clarify.

I also want to add this in thought. You may be accurate about Carson not being fit to hold this position, but I find Kareem Abdul Jabbar as an opportunist who is attackful and vile I tone and does it in a manner that is disrespectful to Carson and others. I don't like the words that comes out of this once great basketball player and I wish he would shut up. He's far from an expert on this matter and like many others in his position he is using his celebrity that wouldn't be heard otherwise if he wasn't so well known.

I like Christy out of all of them. As for Dr Carson, he put his foot in his mouth by writing his book saying things that don't sit well for me. As for fat head Trump, his plans of getting rid of 12 million illegal immigrants is total insanity. As for our 'queen' Hillary, she does not DESERVE to be president with her shady past. Christy should be president, but human nature never votes for a fat and un-handsome person. Therefore, Rubio will probably get in based on looks alone.

Rubio seems to be the pick of the GOP establishment, at least right now. Christy's long history of dirty politics is as bad as the Clinton's - just not as lucrative to him - yet.
