As for your last reply, it's ok... I know we don't agree much on politics, but I'm also sure you see why I think I do on certain issues.

I've been thinking of getting rid of my political account as it has been frustrating with people that seem to only want to fight and play games with each other's feelings, and unfortunately I get caught up in it too and it brings out the worst in me.

My phone is old and when I switched accounts recently I accidentally clicked onto create a new account, and said I must download the latest version of Twitter. You can't download apps anymore and it's time to update to a new phone. My iPhone 4S works but barely hanging on. At some point, I might not be able to get on here or Twitter but for now, I'll wait till I work again before making a major purchase, and a phone with advanced technology, that is really a computer is a lot of money.

I am still mixed on all of what's going on and find so many people hypocritical, including politicians.

In order to go into a supermarket, you must wear a face mask in NJ. Governor Murphy of NJ opened the beaches here and said up to 25 people can now socialize. I had a bad example of negligence on the street where I live on Sunday. A number of people were gathering playing music on the street, holding hands and dancing with no face masks.

Work is necessary, not crowded beaches and bars, putting people at risk. The governor here allows that, the police department said up to 25 can gather, and yet you are not allowed to get on a bus or go to work in NJ unless you are essential? Makes no sense.

As for Biden, another double standard. The Democrats went after Kavanaugh and made a sink about fabricated lies. There was no proof. Turn it around with the same equivalencey with Biden and they brush it aside. Personally I am not overly concerned about that issue and give him the benefit of the doubt. In both cases, the accusers should have spoken up years earlier.

The comments Biden made about blacks the other day was outrageous and more stupidity of his foot in the mouth disease. Biden at this point is the presumptive nominee. I'm not sure he will get it, but the Democrats have a losing ticket if they allow it to happen. As for his determination on a woman VP. Just like affirmative action, which had its time and place at one point, is unfairly used today. I was listening to a radio show host making the point how it discriminates against someone who is the best person for the job, losing out. He said in the past affirmative action was more understandable because of probably the single most wrong thing this country ever engaged in, being slavery. However that's the past and people should not be discriminated either way. By saying you will chose a female running mate, by disqualifying perhaps the best person for the job is discrimination and reverse discrimination in the case of a VP candidate or any person applying for a job, to meet quota.

As for mail in ballots, just NO! The Democrats would love to tamper with the election and give way for illegals to vote, or have people vote multiple times. It cancels out legitimate votes. If people can go to supermarkets, they can go to the polls, with the voting stations being stationed apart like they do with shoppers. Besides the reason why NYC and NJ are still shutdown is for political gain in November, as all other tactics have been major failures against Donald Trump since day one, and even before he took the oath of office. The corruption, lies and schemes to rid him have failed over and over, and using Covid-19 to employ this tactic will once again fail, as people are fed up with dictator like politicians illegally using martial law unnecessarily. People are reckless and think the epidemic is a joke, but you can't keep businesses closed when people have to provide for their families and also not lose businesses that will never come back, just so they can project that the president did this, when nothing can be further from the truth.

The president closed China from entering the USA and was called a racist, while Democratic politicians were telling people to go on with their lives and go to movies, shows, China Town. Then they shut down the economy blamed Trump for deaths, while Governor Cuomo of NY was irresponsible and ordered seniors back into nursing homes, which killed them, and is now blaming Trump.

We will see in November how many Americans are sick of all this nonsense. Joe Biden won't win, but I'm glad it's not Bernie Sanders right now. What you are seeing now is socialism that Democrats dream of. They want free education, housing, money and handouts that will bankrupt the country. Imagine that in "normal times"? Many people now are making more money than there regular paychecks and want this system to continue. It can't and it shouldn't. A working economy is the only solution. Yes, there are risks, but keeping the economy closed is risking more. More people die from the flu each year than the Corona Virus. The numbers are being miscalculated and played up. Mix in Cancer, Diabetes, Heart Disease and throw it all in with Covid-19, and you play upon people's fears and emotions. What's really happening is you have blue state politicians contributing to the hype hoping they can stay closed as long as they can until November, especially in major cities like NY, LA and Chicago.

They know fully well this will hopefully inspire people to play the blame game and win an election against Donald Trump. Wrong, it will backfire. People out there on both sides of their politics are not smart though. There are idiots on both sides. While I think businesses should open, the socializing is irresponsible. Large crowds in a time of uncertainty being in big party swimming pools that you see on television, large crowds on beaches, and a NJ and NY governor keeping the economy closed, when normally they are trying to legislate recreational marijuana. Just idiots.

As for the gay agenda, it no longer matters whether you are Democratic or Republican. Many milestones and achievements have been made. While most people who are gay subscribe to the left, the right has subscribers too, and the party is no longer threatening people with outdated sodomy laws and preventing same-sex marriage. Are people's rights still in jeopardy at work and in other situations? I'm sure that is probably the case, but being that this is not a perfect world, there are fights to still be had. Our country though is much better than almost any other place in the world for gay rights and peoples freedoms. I truly feel passionate in regards to my political beliefs, just as you do Kevin.

I can't subscribe to a political party that has antiSemites and are defended by their own fellow Democrats. Like you, I hope you see the light one day, just as you have said similar to me.

There is very little I agree with among Democrats these days, but that's my choice and why we vote. Hopefully the voting process will remain legitimate and not be tampered with.

If the states don't allow people to work, you will see more protests and people defy authorities. We will also see how quickly all this crap ends after election. While an epidemic is serious, it can also be played up as a hoax. Irresponsible people not taking it seriously with partying and elected politicians not being responsible ruining people's lives, incomes, businesses and way of life.

I know you are well read, smart and extremely dedicated to your political beliefs, but I also think you can see my concerns and where I'm coming from as well. Somehow I also think you know when people in your political party play things up to get their way. How's that working for Democrats over the last 4 years?

Anyway, I'm angry over the hypocrisy and idiots who are irresponsible, unkind towards others and government that has no clue (not to just my political party). There are many to blame.

Now we will see if the social distance NEGLECT over Memorial Day Weekend comes back to bite America in the ass. Not good. Work important, but not reckless partying, with no regards to others, their families and themselves. I think we are screwed, but I hope I am wrong.

Hope you are well despite our disagreements and I wish you nothing but the best, in health and happiness Kevin.

Thank you William. I am well, but I'm not going to engage on all the stuff you just posted - It is simply not worth the energy right now. I hope you are well too and finding happiness where you can - these are dark times, mainly thanks to Trump, so here we are. Take care of yourself, I'll check in from time to time - just not in a mood to debate here. Good luck.

I actually thought of removing that post after all that has gone on since. I'm glad you responded that way Kevin. All I can say is it is depressing to see what's going on. I'll leave it at that.

I'm glad you are ok Kevin. Take care
